Anyone Can Create Fabric Art
Have you ever wanted to create a beautiful piece of fabric art but thought you needed to know how to sew?
With Kinusaiga, you don't need sewing skills, a needle or a sewing machine. You don't need to be good at sewing, knitting, embroidery or any other craft.
All you need is a little curiosity and a love for art and colour. We'll guide you step by step, and you'll create your own beautiful fabric canvas to take home.

A Lovely Creative Activity for All Ages
You don't need to be artistic or have previous craft experience. This workshop is suitable for beginners and anyone who enjoys working with their hands.
It's especially lovely for people who enjoy sewing, knitting, embroidery, crochet, quilting or other traditional crafts. If you are part of a sewing circle, knitting group, quilting club or community craft group, why not organise a private creative session together?
It's also a wonderful activity to enjoy with your mum, Nana, grandparents or friends. A chance to sit together, chat, explore colours and create something special.

We don't ask you to fit into a fixed public workshop timetable. Because this is a private experience, you can choose a date and start time that works best for you and your group.
Simply text us with your preferred date and time. We'll check availability and arrange a session that suits you.
Studio Opening Hours
Every day: 9:30am – 8:00pm
Latest workshop start time: 6:30pm
Each workshop takes approximately 2–2.5 hours. The last session needs to begin by 6:30pm so you have enough time to enjoy the full experience.
Remember: You choose your preferred date and start time. All sessions are subject to availability and advance booking.

Booking deposit
A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your private workshop date and time. The remaining balance can be paid on the day of your workshop.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need sewing experience?
Not at all. Kinusaiga is a fabric art technique that does not require sewing. You won't need a needle or sewing machine. Beginners are very welcome.
Is this a private workshop?
Yes. Your session is reserved for you and your chosen group. We don't mix different bookings together.
Can older adults or seniors join?
Absolutely. It's a gentle, hands-on creative activity suitable for adults of different ages. It's especially enjoyable for people who love fabric, colour and crafts.
Can I choose my own date and time?
Yes. You can request a date and start time that suits your group. The studio opens from 9:30am to 8:00pm, and the latest workshop start time is 6:30pm. All bookings are subject to availability.
How long does the workshop take?
Approximately 2–2.5 hours, depending on your pace and design.
What will I take home?
You'll take home your own completed 15cm × 15cm Kinusaiga fabric artwork in a wooden frame, ready to display.
Can I book for a birthday or group gathering?
Of course. It's a lovely activity for birthdays, friends' get-togethers, family days and workplace groups. Private group bookings are available for up to 9 people.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A 30% deposit is required when booking to secure your preferred date and time. The remaining balance is payable on the day of your workshop.
Do I need to bring anything?
No. All materials and tools are provided, along with soft drinks and light snacks.
